Specification and the values shown below are the given permissible tolerances of pump shaft bearing maximum values:

• Shaft alignment
• Axial clearance
• Shaft run-out
• Face run-out
• Coupling alignment

Should these be exceeded, malfunctioning or even destruction of the seal may occur, and in such cases „ANGA” Uszczelnienia Mechaniczne Sp. z o.o. cannot bear responsibility.

Rectilinearity

• for ø  ≤ 50 mm : max. 0.05 mm,
• for ø  > 50 mm : max. 0.08 mm
• for ø  > 100 mm: max. 0.1 mm.

Shaft alignment

Shaft alignment vs. seal chamber max. 0.15 mm.
In the case of a mechanical seal with a pumping ring max. 0.1 mm.

Axial clearance

Bearing axial clearance max. 0.15 mm.

Shaft run-out

Shaft end bearing run-out under mechanical seal:

• for ø  ≤ 50 mm : max. 0.05 mm,
• for ø  > 50 mm : max. 0.08 mm.
• for ø  > 100 mm : max. 0.1 mm.

Face run-out

Face run-out vs. shaft axis cannot exceed:

• for n = 3000 rpm : max. 0.025 mm,
• for n = 1500 rpm : max. 0.08 mm
• for n =  800 rpm : max. 0.2 mm.

Coupling alignment

Setting of pump shaft and drive coupling: max. 0.15 mm.
